What's your Kpop story?

I envy those fans who can afford to travel to another country to watch their idol’s concert. Really, I think the no.1 problem of the fans is MONEY. You see, I can’t watch the SM Town in LA because I live in Philippines and also I don’t have enough funds to go to Anaheim. So, I really hope SM consider our country or the other countries to have a SM Town. Every country deserves that and also the artists, they will have a chance to meet their fans in other countries. 

I got so tired of the the fans bashing each other. I mean come on! Yes, our fandom is special in their own way but why do they keep saying negative things about them. Oh yeah, it will only strengthen the unity of the fandom. So just keep on bashing them, ok? *evil laugh*

I’m watching the TV and when I came across the music channel, I saw Super Junior’s It’s you. At first, I thought they were some Taiwanese band or something like Asian. So yeah, I didn’t mind it. Months passed, it was on the daily countdown and everyday it keep on repeating. Until I caught myself singing into it one time because of the LSS or the “Last Song Syndrome”. I don’t exactly remember the lyrics and everyday I was humming into it. Then luckily, one day I was singing Its You in our classroom and my classmate was surprised. It turns out to be that she is an ELF. So yeah, she said some things to me and told to watch their reality shows. And I got addicted into it until I began collecting SJ stuff. I’ll always love Super Junior.

Now, how did I became a Blackjack? Oh yeah. My sister was watching those Korean stuff and she was always laughing in front of her laptop. I asked her why is she laughing all the time. She just replied “You should watch this!” pointing to the screen of her laptop and the show was showing Super Junior. Psh. I was annoyed then. I thought that it was just a waste of time. Then, she messaged me a link of 2ne1 Go Away performance. The song was catchy. But, I couldn’t understand what’s the meaning behind it. I Googled it. Then there it was. Also, I searched who the artist was. It was 2ne1, a popular South Korean girls group. I saw the face of the adorable Bom! She’s soooooooooooo cute. I watched their 2ne1 tv and I saw the other side of 2ne1, which was dorky and funny. I fell in love with them, especially Bom. From that day on, I consider myself as a BLACKJACK.

I was scrolling through Yahoo! and there was an article about Super Junior. I clicked it because I was bored though. So yeah, I saw the article and read it. I forgot what was it all about but, I remember that is was all about their award. I searched for their group and I read their biography. I came across through Kyuhyun’s accident. I really feel bad for him even though I don’t know him yet. Again, I searched for his name and read some stuff. I went back to Super Junior’s profile and saw their reality shows. I watched their Full House and I fell in love with Heechul! I got so fascinated by his jokes and yeah, hes ,my one and only bias. From that day on, I continue to watch all of their reality shows and after some few months/days, I consider myself as a one true ELF. I even got the chance to watch their concert live and I was so thankful for that. Up to now, I don’t regret myself about being an ELF and I will be forever.

I got into kpop not too long ago, but I think is was SJ’s No Other era. I was watching the music channel and a few moments later, it started playing SJ’s no other. I found that video cute even though I don’t understand what they are saying. Since then, I started liking or LOVING Super Junior. I watched all of their variety show, guestings and other stuff. I also started collecting their CDs, posters and T-shirts. I was an avid fan of them. I hope that they will stay longer like their Shinhwa-sunbaenim because they are the idols that take good care of their fans. I LOVE SUPER JUNIOR FOREVER.
